This is the dress that I made for Rye, the skirt on the dress and I did not get a long very well, but we made it work! :0) Rye loves it and it's nice for an everyday type dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE my new sewing machine! Thanks mom!

Graduation!

Well, I got my AS degree on Saturday, so awesome! :0) It's been fun... OH! And we start again on the 19th of this month. Yahoo for continuing with school. But it's good to get my AS and to HAVE that. Ya know? We didn't take that many pictures, here's the one I have right now. :0) I haven't downloaded any of the others yet. Yeah for graduation!

More UFOs :0)

I recovered some of the pillows on our couch. So much fun! It's made the room feel bigger and brighter. It's been a fun change. Every time I look at it I feel like I fall in love with it all over again.

These are the two wreaths I made this weekend. :0) So much fun. Only problem is one of them broke in the wind today so I had to put the other one out there. I was really sad but I'll just re-make it.

Mending UFO #2

I am on a roll today, but don't worry, tomorrow I'll start back with my homework and everything will go back to normal. :0) I did some mending today though. I even mended something that was all stretchy... I'm pretty happy with myself. So, I mended Cass' jacket, two sweaters, a cami, a pair of jeans, and pair of capris. The jeans I must say are not for everyday wear. They are just for around the house, but I thought they were fun. :0)

Shower curtain into tablecloth!

I just finished my first UFO. I turned a shower curtain into a tablecloth. :0) It's really simple and for those of you with square tables this is the perfect way to get one in any style/color/season you want!

So my pictures are in the wrong order, but it's just going to have to do for right now. :0) Isn't it cute? I can't wait to find more shower curtains! This took about 15 mins and that's with kids up and needing stuff. Plus, I'm on the slow side of sewing. :0) So not a big deal though. OH the possibilities!

My friend Rosie is hosting a contest this month. It's all about getting those unfinished projects done. Well, I have a few that I've been meaning to get done and actually ended up adding like 5 more to my list just in the past two days. So... my list!

*Two different wreaths.
-One for spring
-One for summer
... Now I must add that all I've had for the summer wreath is a hanger for the longest time, but I am now starting to collect fabric for it and hopefully should be able to start that soon.
... The one for spring I don't have all the stuff for either, but these are still projects that are bugging my brain. :0)
*I have fabric to make 4 skirts, two for each of the girls, now just to get it together and sew them.
-1st figure out how to re-purpose shirts into skirts for the girls!
*I also have fabric to make envelope pillow cases for three of my couch pillows. Now, I know when I'm going to be doing this and it's not going to be this month it will be next month though. On our 10 day break from school. :0)
*Mending! I have a pile of mending to do. As long as I can get enough homework done today then I can mend tomorrow. Yahoo!
*I have another new project! I know, why am I doing this to myself with all the other stuff I have going on? Well, I'm a sucker for punishment! No not really, I just really like having something other than school work and cleaning to do. :0) I am going to take a cute shower curtain and turn it into a table cloth. That's right people! I'm really excited about this one. Did you know it's really hard to find 70 x 70 table cloths? Well, did you know that most shower curtains are 72 x 72 or 70 x 72? Isn't that just perfect? Anyways, can you tell how excited I am? :0) This I'm going to try to get done this weekend too.

Hello y'all! :o)

Well, we haven't been up to much and yet we've been busier than ever... I guess that happens when you have 3 kids, school, work, dance, and gymnastics, plus the countless other things just to do in a day.

But, lets see... We went to Florida for Christmas and Atlanta for New Years/Travis' birthday, which was all really fun. We got to see a lot of family and that was awesome.

We came home to school and work right away, which was a little crazy. I still have some organizing of new toys to do from Christmas. Sad, I know, but true.

School is going well for everyone. :0) Work too. Gym and dance are good. Travis is good. The girls are good. Tony and I are good.

Life is good.

Travis bit his tongue yesterday evening. It looked like this, only with more blood. He got 4 stitches. The doctor said it should heal nicely as long as he doesn't mess with it too much. Well, how do you tell an 11 month old to not mess with their tongue? We're working on it though. :0) Lots of popsicles and Tylenol. He is sleeping right now, but we'll see how he does later today. Well, I should try and get some sleep too. :0)

Crayons

We made crayons tonight. It was fun. The house smells of melted crayons. The girls helped sort the crayons by color and take all the paper off. Then we put them in the oven for what seemed like FOREVER! But then they came out and cooled and we got to color with them and everything tonight. So much fun! :0 )

We Bought a Car!

Yup, we bought a car. How fun is that? :0 ) It's cute, it's small-ish (doesn't feel like it is though we all fit in it great), & it's fun to drive. It's a Vibe. A Pontiac Vibe that is. Yup, it's fun. :0 )

I'm an AUNT!

Well, I got to meet my nephew this last week. He's adorable and perfect! I'm so excited to be an aunt, my first time ya know! Travis wasn't sure what to think of his new cousin but the girls were in LOVE. :0 ) It was a fun week and I'm totally glad that I got to go.

Anyways, things are good. Just hanging out, can't wait until Christmas (we get to go to Florida!). Not sure what's going on for Thanksgiving... totally NOT in the mood to cook for it yet, hopefully that changes! I am really ready for Halloween though. My bathroom is all decked out in Halloween decorations, I just got a new throw blanket with spiders on it for the living room. I've got Rylee's birthday party to plan, still not sure what we're doing for that though. :0 ) But we'll figure it out. I'm not really sure that Rylee cares what we do. But she's going to be 5 so that's fun.

Travis took his first steps yesterday, which is exciting. He's definitely trying to get more teeth too, just ask my collar bone, which one morning was used as a teething ring. It wasn't pleasant especially since he already has 2 teeth!

ADOPTION!!

Cass' adoption went through yesterday. :0 ) It was really cool to be there when the judge said she was officially Cassidee Lynn Nicole Rozier. The judge told Cass she was cute about 5 times.... which I thought was fun. It was just a new day. Cass didn't go to school since she had to come with us and didn't want to go back when it was all done. It was a great day. Happy its all done and legal. Love you Cass! Love you Tony! Good day! REALLY GOOD. :0 )

What have we been up to?

Well, lets see. Tony and I aren't in school right now. It's our summer time. Which its nice because I can just focus on the girls for awhile. Tony is still working at Albertsons, the only thing is he has been changing hours so much during the week its a little bit crazy. But right now he's doing a Monday thru Friday thing from like 4am to 12pm. Which is actually nice because he just goes to bed the same time as the kids, or takes a nap, and then he's home for dinner and for getting Cass from school and all that fun stuff. But then after that, who knows what's going on.

Cassidee started the 3rd grade this year, yahoo for 3rd grade! I remember 3rd grade. :0 ) I remember before 3rd grade too. I think 2nd was my favorite year. ANYWAYS! Cass has two pet gerbils in her classroom and is in LOVE. Cass turned 8 on August 23rd and was baptized on August 28th. Which was really fun and exciting. It was a sweet experience and I'm happy she made the decision to be baptized. She's also dancing again this year which she loves doing.

Rylee is doing gymnastics like always. :0 ) She was invited to be in a new class this year. She's in the tops class and its sort of like a lets-get-you-ready-for-team class. Rye is a very determined little girl and I think she'll excel and do well in her new class.

Travis has a tooth. He's crawling ALL over the place. He can climb the stairs if we let him. Which we don't. He has a cupboard and a drawer that he's allowed to play in in the kitchen and he really enjoys that. Don't worry, it's the cupboard with all the pots and pans and the utensils drawer. Travis sleeps through the night for the most part and everything. He's really an easy baby.... KNOCK ON WOOD!!!

Sleep

When was the last time that I woke up just because I was ready to get out of bed? Well, it's been awhile at least. :0 ) It's fine... I'm getting enough sleep and everything, it's just that the initial getting up is a little hard. I just wish it was more of a peaceful wake up (some days). Does anyone else? Or am I alone in this? If I am so be it... maybe I'm just a little more selfish. :0 ) I'll work on that. Don't get me wrong I love it when everyone's in Tony and I's bed in the morning and we're all snuggling and everything. I'm just saying. But someday it will be so and I'll miss being woken up. I'll try to be happier all the time about what I have. There, that's my goal. :0 ) Just worked it all out... thanks for your help!

I made cookies....

I made cookies this evening. I might make more tomorrow. Do I NEED cookies to eat? NOPE! But it's so fun to have my house smell all yummy. Anyways, it's not good for the diet I need to get my butt on. :0 ) Oh well... soon.

Let us see.... what is new? What is new? What is new? Well, nothing really much. The girls spent almost a month in Florida this summer, plus they drove back and got to see all sorts of exciting things. While they were gone, Tony, Travis and I hung out. We didn't really do much. But Travis started to crawl and pull himself up on things and everything so it was still fun. Now we have two gates and would like a third just for the downstairs. Hahaha! So much fun.

We are off for the fall semester so that's exciting for sure. The break is welcome, but at the same time I can't wait to start again. :0 )

School's out.....

Yahoo! School is out. Tony has one more test to take tomorrow morning and then we are done until January. How exciting is that? :0 ) Well, I'm excited!

The girls are having fun in Florida, which is awesome. We miss them and, more importantly, Travis misses them. They have already been to Disney and the beach... they are going to do the beach again this weekend, so jealous by the way, and probably a water park or Sea World this next week sometime.

So I'm thinking about getting my hair cut. Just an FYI. :0 )

Tony is going to be a checker at Albertsons coming up next week. It's going to be good, easier hours for school and everything.

Travis.... well goodness what is that boy not doing, I swear! He is crawling and pulling up on things. We're working on sitting up still, but he'll get it. He eats really well and everything, which is just great. He can even hold his own bottle, which is just awesome. :0 )

Clocking In

Well, I did figure out what I was doing wrong with the whole clocking in thing, yahoo for getting paid!

Things are going good here. Same thing different day. :0) But I like it. We are busy but doing really good. We were supposed to go camping last night, but that didn't happen. But for the most part things are just going.

Rylee really likes her new gym class. Cass is having fun in gym also. They are fun to watch. For completely different reasons, but still, fun. :0)

Travis is an eating machine. That's been fun to see him just love food so much. He is rolling over from front to back and once he did back to front. He's a "supported sitter" now, which is fun. He loves to sit up. He'll be mobile soon, which is just scary to me. Oh well. :0)

Well, that's it. That's our lives right now in a nutshell. :0) Have a good day! Thankfully the sun is out here and I think we might brave the park. Yahoo for the crowded park! Hahaha! Fun fun though.

Tutoring

Well, I'm tutoring this morning. Yahoo! The girls get really confused when I go to school on a Saturday. They want Tony to go to school and "babysits" to come. Oh well, they have "babysits" on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, I think that's enough. Tony has today off. We are cleaning and grocery shopping. Yahoo for cleaning and grocery shopping.... or not really. :0) We will live though, I'm sure of it.

As you can see there is a whole lot of tutoring going on.... or not so much. I don't know why people come and sit and do homework who don't need help. But I guess it's nice if you do have a question someone is here to answer it.... hopefully! No, really so far I've done okay... knock on wood!

Lets see, this next week there is no gym, Rye's energy is going to go through the roof. But then the following week she starts a new class. She's moving up to the 5/6 year old class early, so that she can be doing things more challenging. Cass is starting gym for the summer that following week as well. She's excited, she loves to dance but she has a lot of fun during the summer gym time. Travis is just growing away. He's a really good baby and hopefully I'm not jinxing it.

I got a job, although I can't seem to clock in. But I got a job working for one of the teachers as a grader. It's really a nice because for the most part I work from home. I am glad that I can help out financially too, even though Tony will still have to work full time.

Well, I should get off of here.... it will be time for me to head home soon. Yahoo, cleaning and grocery shopping. :0)

School.....

School has been crazy. I am only taking 7 credits, but it's like I'm taking 10. I'm at school more than Tony is and he's taking 12 credits. There is defiantly something wrong here... let me tell you. :0) But life will continue. It's just something I have to do right now.

Other than that.... things are good. :0) Rye is going to move up in her gym class at the end of next month, which will be fun for her. Cass just had her dance recital, which was really fun to watch and she had a great time performing. She is going to start gym at the end of next month, which she's excited for. Travis, well he's just laughing up a storm lately. His "sit-down belly aches" are a little tiring, but other than that 30 mins in the evening (I know I should complain!) he's an awesome baby!

Tony and I are just in school. Like I said a little crazy but mostly good. We are taking a class together which is nice. Studying is going to be easier. I take a lot of notes and do a lot of research for us both, so that Tony can concentrate on other classes, it's nice to be able to help out in some way.

Well, there really isn't too much going on as of right now, but I think we're going to have a busy summer really. We're planning a trip to the California coast to go fishing with my grandpa, which should be fun. It will be Tony's first time fishing in the Pacific ocean. :0) We'll be there for the 4th of July weekend, which will be fun to see the fireworks and everything. My 10 year high school reunion is in August and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. Cassidee is getting baptized in August as well, I can't believe she is going to be 8 already! I'm hoping to see my grandparents out here in June and go to my brother's high school graduation. Also, Dulce and Jeff have a trip planned for August. So we're going to be busy busy on top of school. It will be fun, but we'll be ready I'm sure for school to be over in July!
